About the conference

Understanding the human mind and the mechanisms underlying mental processes has long engaged philosophers and researchers across diverse disciplines, including psychology, neuroscience, economics, linguistics, engineering, and many other fields of knowledge and discovery. The complexity of the human mind transcends disciplinary boundaries, inviting perspectives that are both complementary and, at times, profoundly different.

PsyCon 2027 is an endeavor to bring together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals from these diverse fields to share research experiences, exchange ideas, and explore how insights into the human mind and mental processes translate into real-world applications. The conference places particular emphasis on the intersection between fundamental understanding of mental processes and their application to real-life situations. It invites critical, reflective dialogue that bridges the gap between fundamental questions about perception, attention, linguistics, decision-making, and consciousness and how they help us understand the human mind and behaviour across different environments and contexts.

At its core, PsyCon 2027 recognises that the human mind does not exist in isolation. Human cognition is dynamic, adaptive, and continually shaped by the technological, cultural, social, and environmental contexts in which people live and interact. By bringing together diverse perspectives on these interconnected realities, the conference aims to deepen our understanding of human cognition while opening avenues for meaningful research, responsible innovation, and applications grounded in lived human experience.

Submission Guidelines

Original abstracts must be submitted in English only.
Abstract text, including the keywords and title, should not exceed 500 words.
The Abstract must contain no fewer than 4 keywords.
Please note that abstracts must follow the format specified in the template: Font size 12, Times New Roman, double-spaced in MS Word. It should cover all required fields specified in the template available on the submission portal.
Abstracts must include results/findings; abstracts with statements such as 'data/results' will be included at a later date and will not be considered. The following submissions will be considered for inclusion:
- Empirical articles
- Meta-analyses
- Systematic reviews
- New methodologies that have been tested
The structured abstracts must include the following sections (please see template):
- Clear and concise title
- Significance, objectives, and background of the work
- Materials/Methods
- Results/Main Findings
- Conclusion/Implications
Abstracts that do not follow the format prescribed in this call will not be considered.
Please also include the following information:
- Details of the presenting author (i.e., name, organisational affiliation, email address, and phone number) must be specified.
- Details of co-author/s (i.e., name, organizational affiliation, email address(es), and phone number(s)) must be specified
All abstracts will undergo review, and selected abstracts will be considered for oral and poster presentations. The review committee will make the final decision on the presentation format (oral or poster).
The abstract submission deadline is December 31, 2026 (midnight). Abstracts received after the due date will not be considered.
