Date: December 20th, 2022 | 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
Venue: FLAME University

FLAME University's Centre for Knowledge Alternatives in partnership with Network of Indian Cultural Enterprises (NICEorg) is organizing a Roundtable on "India's Cultural Enterprise: From Protection & Preservation to Promotion'' on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm at Chandragupta, East Wing (ground floor conference room) at FLAME University.

The objective of the Roundtable is to initiate meaningful discourses on strengthening cultural entrepreneurship in India. There is a need for discourse on cultural enterprise to move from preservation to promotion, and an enabling policy framework is necessary for that. The discussions will aim to identify the potential and constraints faced by cultural entrepreneurs in India and how an enabling policy ecosystem can evolve in this sector.

The roundtable will serve as a platform bringing together cultural entrepreneurs, venture funds in cultural enterprises and representatives from the government to discuss and deliberate on this important topic. The deliverables will be a policy document that would be circulated in the government.
