UNCOVER QUESTIONS, DISCOVER ANSWERS

The FLAME Incubator Program is specifically designed for students from undergraduate and postgraduate programs of FLAME University.

Todays’ entrepreneurs don’t have to choose between getting a degree and starting a business. In fact, you will be more likely to succeed as an entrepreneur if you launch your business idea inside of a university-located incubator. Encouraging student entrepreneurship is one of the focus areas of the FLAME Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (FCEI). The objective of the FCEI is to foster entrepreneurship through incubation, ecosystem development and academic initiatives. The initiative aims to educate and support aspiring young entrepreneurs to work on their business ideas, convert the ideas into products and build a sustainable business.

Today, young entrepreneurs can find good help without having to leave their campus. It is possible for a 20-year-old to create something that changes the world. And what campus wouldn’t want a founder of such a revolutionary product as an alum?

Several takeaways from the program include use of a co-working space, workshops and access to guest speakers, various seminars, networking events and more for the aspiring entrepreneurs.

This program provides you with an entry into the world of startups. Through knowledge sessions, mentor meetings, and activity-based challenges the program helps to develop your idea and evolve it into an early-stage startup.

You can register for the program if you have an idea or without an idea, with a team or all by yourself. You don’t need to have deep computing skills or knowledge about the startups or business. All you need is determination to succeed, creativity and unbounded passion. You are invited to join the four-month intensive program with resources and mentorship to take your business idea to the next level.

Program Duration

Duration of the incubator program is six months. Due to Covid-19, we will be conducting the program virtually in AY 2021-22. You can expect to dedicate about 4 hours per week for incubator program activities. Outside of the incubator program activities, please plan to allocate additional time/efforts to implement the learnings (i.e. build the product, customer development, research, among others). Remember, your startup will not work unless you do!
