A whitepaper by  Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) and FLAME University.

FLAME University and the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) recently joined hands to organize a roundtable on “Improving MSMEs Competitiveness through Low Carbon Economy”. The event took place on 22nd July 2022, at FLAME University and was graced by eminent dignitaries from industry, government, and academia. The roundtable aimed to bridge the gap between education and job readiness with respect to climate change.

The roundtable discussion provided attendees with a platform to discuss the challenges faced by MSMEs in transitioning to a low-carbon economy. The discussion also highlighted the role of academia and organizations such as IACC in supporting MSMEs in achieving this transition.

The success of the roundtable was further manifested in the joint whitepaper launched by FLAME University and IACC. The whitepaper titled “Improving MSME Competitiveness Through Low-Carbon Economy” was the result of a seven-month-long collaborative effort between the two organizations and a consolidation of the insights from the successful roundtable.

The launch of the whitepaper was held on 28th February at FLAME University and was attended by several eminent industry heads. The event was open to both the FLAME community and external audiences. The speakers at the launch event included Dr. Sanjay Kolte, CEO of Pune Smart City, Shri. Mangesh Jadhav, RoC- Pune (Ministry of Corporate Affairs), Shri. Pradeep Bhargava, Chairman of Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited, Pune, and Dr. Ravindra Utgikar, VP-Corporate Strategy & Marketing, PRAJ Industries. The event was also graced by the presence of IACC leadership and guests.
