This is a competition organised by IIM Ahmedabad and Motilal Oswal. Aiming to educate the younger generation on equity and process- based equity investing, Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company has partnered with The Red Brick Summit, the flagship annual symposium of IIM Ahmedabad to create an initiative – the ‘Motilal Oswal Think Equity Think QGLP Contest’. The contest provides a forum for B-school students to test their stock-picking skills, present it to a panel, and win cash prizes.
Participants from various business schools need to familiarize themselves with the QGLP stock-picking methodology, pick a stock and give a rationale in the prescribed format. The various entries would be shortlisted by fund managers at MOAMC and the top 10 entries would get a chance to present their investing idea at the IIM-Ahmedabad’s Red Brick Summit 2017 to a jury panel of stock market comprising Raamdeo Agrawal (Chairman, MOAMC), Ramesh Damani (Member, Bombay Stock Exchange) and Utpal Sheth (CEO and Senior Partner at Rare Group).
FLAME University students have been selected of one of the top 10 finalists in this program.
