FLAME always encourages its students to go beyond the conventional education system and promotes co-curricular activities. FLAME encourages student participation in campus governance. The campus has a democratically elected Student Council. The Council contributes in the academic and disciplinary proceedings at FLAME. The Council has three committees, namely, Student Welfare Committee, Sports Committee and Cultural Committee, with student members from all programs at FLAME. This structure encourages student interaction and helps in developing the overall personality and leadership qualities of the students.
Our Student Council is formed by a process of selection. So either we can remove the words 'democratically elected' or just say, "FLAME encourages student participation in campus governance through its Student Council."
Secondly, the Council has four committees, namely, Student Welfare Committee, Sports Committee, Cultural Committee and Professional Development Committee.
