We suggest students to study the minimum eligibility requirement carefully, before applying to FLAME University. FLAME University’s admission process will be conducted completely online. You will be able to attend the admission process from home.
FEAT (FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test) is an online examination conducted by FLAME University for admission to its UG program for applicants who do not have SAT or ACT scores.
FEAT is of 120 minutes duration and is divided into 4 sections, as given below:
- Section 1: Verbal Ability - 40 Questions (50 marks)
- Section 2: Reasoning (Analytical and Logical) - 20 questions (40 marks)
- Section 3: Quantitative ability - 20 questions (30 marks)
- Section 4: General knowledge - 20 questions (20 marks)
The Verbal ability section will include questions on vocabulary, grammar, sentence correction, composition, comprehension etc.
All questions shall be of multiple-choice (MCQ) type.

This sample question paper serves only as a tool to help applicants assess the rigor of the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test. The actual FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test will be different.
There is no negative marking for FEAT.
No, calculators are not allowed during the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test.
There is no need of taking special coaching for FEAT. The standard of questions would be similar to most of the other competitive examinations.
Topic of the essay will be provided on the spot. You are required to complete the essay question in ~200-250 words, in 20 minutes. Since this is an online assessment, you will have to type your response in the space provided.
This part of the admission process will also be conducted online after you complete the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) and the Essay. FLAME University's admission panel will conduct the Personal Interview. Possible questions may include your reasons for applying to FLAME, your passions, your role model, your learnings and aspirations. Your responses will help the University to know more about you, your personality, your communication skills and your clarity of thought. It is meant to give you an opportunity to express what may not be stated in your application.
The Online Personal Interview is a part of the FLAME University online admission process. It will be conducted online after you complete the online FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) and the Essay. Well before your interview is scheduled, you will receive a link to join for the discussion with our faculty panel.
The online FEAT and Essay will be conducted using human proctoring as well as the latest remote proctoring technology. You are required to provide permission for a webcam and microphone. Please ensure the room is sufficiently lit.

- One will detail the day and time for FEAT (if applicable) and Essay. The second will communicate the day and time of your Personal Interview. System requirements will also be communicated.
- The Online Personal Interview is a part of the FLAME University online admission process. Applicants shortlisted for online personal interview will receive an email from the university including details such as day-date, timing and a zoom link to join. Please note FLAME University will schedule interviews on any one of the cycle wise scheduled dates between 9:30 AM to 5 PM. We advise you to plan your availability as per the mentioned schedule, as we may not be able to reschedule your interview.
AADHAR card or PAN card or Passport will serve as an identity proof for you to attend FLAME University’s online admission process. Only originals shall be treated as valid proof of identity. You are required to keep the same handy during the entire online admission process.

FLAME University has designed the selection process in such a way that each applicant has a fair chance of admission. The university tries to ensure that bright well rounded individuals get admitted to its undergraduate programs.
We have an internal assessment process which considers the following aspects of your application:
- Admission Test (FEAT/SAT/ACT)
- Essay
- Online Personal Interview
- Past Academic Record
- Extracurricular activities/ achievements
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
We follow a sliding principle for selection, where we shortlist candidates based on their overall performance on all the parameters listed above. As an applicant, if you score below average in your entrance test, but your application is strong in other aspects, chances are you might still get an offer from FLAME University. Obviously, the higher the test score, the better your chances of getting an offer letter. Your chances of selection are brighter if you have a strong academic record, well-articulated SOP, and extracurricular/ professional achievements.
FLAME has an internal assessment process which considers various parameters for selection of candidates. Test score is just one of the parameters we consider for selection. Even if you score below average in your entrance test or SAT/ACT etc., but your application is strong in other aspects, chances are you might still get an offer from FLAME University. Needless to say, the higher the test scores the better your chances of getting an offer of admission. You can also take the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) in addition to submitting your SAT/ACT scores.
Admission status will be announced as per the schedule mentioned on the website. Once it is declared, you will be notified on your registered email id. Once you receive the notification, you can login to your application portal to know about your admission status.
To confirm the offer of admission, login to the FLAME application portal, select ‘Accept Admission Offer’.
Deadlines to accept the offer of admission and other applicable dates will be communicated in the offer letter which will be sent to the selected students on their registered email id. Acceptance of admission offer and payment of enrollment deposit fee has to be completed before the deadline mentioned in your offer letter. If you fail to do so within the prescribed time, your offer shall stand automatically withdrawn.

There is no management quota at FLAME University. All students are admitted strictly on merit basis.
The university shall refund the admission deposit fee after deducting INR 5000, if such a request is received before the specified date. If a candidate requests for withdrawal any time thereafter, no such request shall be processed.

FLAME University accepts transfer candidates to its undergraduate programs. However, it is done on a case to case basis depending on what courses an individual has completed in his/her previous college, what scores they have earned in such courses and whether those courses can earn them the credits required to waive their time at FLAME University.
