FLAME has designed the selection process in such a way that each applicant has a fair chance of admission.
Our Internal assessment process considers the following aspects of the application:
- National Level Entrance Test Scores [CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/NMAT/GMAT/MH-CET] - (Mandatory)
- Essay
- Online Personal Interview (PI) *
- Past Academic Record
- Extracurricular activities/ achievements
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Personality Profiling
* During the Online Personal Interview (PI), we will also conduct a 60-second video recording about your views on, 'Why you want to join FLAME University?'
We follow a sliding principle for selection, where we shortlist candidates based on their overall performance on all the parameters enlisted above. As an applicant, if you score below average in your entrance test, but your application is strong in other aspects, chances are you might still get an offer from FLAME University. Obviously, the higher the test score, the better your chances of getting an offer letter. Your chances of selection are brighter if you have a strong academic record, well-articulated SOP, and extracurricular/ professional achievements.
With this, FLAME tries to ensure that bright well-rounded individuals get admitted to FLAME’s postgraduate programs.
You will receive an email from the admissions team with details regarding date and time to appear for the Essay and Online Personal Interview, well before your selection process is scheduled.
Online Personal Interviews will typically be conducted on Saturday or Sunday. You will be required to allot half an hour for the same. Essay will be conducted on weekdays. You will receive email for Essay with details regarding date, time and other instructions.
Both, the induction and preparatory programs are conducted before the commencement of the postgraduate program.
Postgraduate Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PGPEI) FAQs

- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Online Personal Interview (PI)
- Essay
- Past Academic Record
- Extracurricular activities and achievements
- Personality Profiling
- Prior experience and domain expertise
We follow a sliding principle for selection, where we shortlist candidates based on their overall performance on all the parameters enlisted above. As an applicant, if you score below average in your entrance test, but your application is strong in other aspects, chances are you might still get an offer from FLAME University. Obviously, the higher the test score, the better your chances of getting an offer letter. Candidates can either take National Level entrance tests (CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/MH-CET) or PG FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT).
If you opt for PG FEAT, we will send you an email with details such as time, date and other relevant instructions to appear for the online test.
PG FEAT is of 120 minutes duration and is divided into 4 sections, as given below:
- Section 1: Verbal Ability - 40 Questions (50 marks)
- Section 2: Reasoning (Analytical and Logical) - 20 questions (40 marks)
- Section 3: Quantitative ability - 20 questions (30 marks)
- Section 4: General knowledge - 20 questions (20 marks)
The Verbal ability section will include questions on vocabulary, grammar, sentence correction, composition, comprehension etc.
All questions shall be of multiple-choice (MCQ) type.
There is no negative marking for PG FEAT.
Calculators are not allowed during the PG FEAT.
PG FEAT (if applicable) and Essay will be conducted on the same day. Online Personal Interview will be conducted on a different day. You will receive separate email for PG FEAT (if applicable) and Essay with details regarding date, time and other instructions.
It is an orientation program to familiarise new students with the campus, academic program, grading, campus facilities, events and activities, and systems.
Both, the induction and preparatory programs are conducted before the commencement of the postgraduate program.
Once you complete the program requirements successfully, you will be awarded a certificate of Postgraduate Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
