Prof. Rajeev Kumar Goel has Doctorate Degree in Economics from the University of Houston. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Houston and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Guru Nanak Dev University.
BIO

Prof. Rajeev Kumar Goel is a Professor – Economics and Chair Professor - Economics at FLAME University. Following his Doctoral Degree from the University of Houston, Dr. Goel has held positions at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Illinois State University, both in the United States. He also holds research affiliations with the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (Germany), CESifo (Germany), and the Institute for Studies on the Mediterranean/National Research Council (ISMed/CNR), (Italy). In addition, he serves on the editorial boards of a number of international professional journals.


Dr. Goel has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in many microeconomic fields including industrial organization, microeconomics, mathematical economics, managerial economics, MBA, and regulatory economics.


Dr. Goel’s theoretical and empirical research encompasses many areas of economics. He is the author of two scholarly books and more than 250 journal articles. He has presented his research in more than 40 countries and is ranked among the top 5% economics authors along a number of metrics (https://ideas.repec.org/f/pgo308.html), and ranked among the top-20 economists of all economists in the German speaking countries (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and researchers who are born in these countries (https://www.forschungsmonitoring.org/ranking/vwl/authors).
