Prof. Mochish has a PhD & M.Phil in Media and Cultural Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and a Masters in Communication from the University of Hyderabad. His Ph.D. research analyses the role of Malayalam newspapers in land struggles and movements in Kerala between 1930-2008. His areas of academic interest include Media Histories, Media and Public Action and Political Communication.
