Prof. Gaurav Gadgil is an Adjunct Faculty – International Studies at FLAME University. Prof. Gadgil holds a doctorate in History from the University of Mumbai. He holds a Master’s Degree in History from the University of Mumbai. He also holds a Master’s in Sociology from IGNOU, New Delhi. He has completed his Bachelor’s in History from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai University.
Prof. Gadgil has worked as an Associate Professor (History & Asian Studies) in the School of Civilization Studies, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, as an Assistant Professor (History) in K.J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce (Autonomous), an Assistant Professor (Department of History) in S.N.D.T. Women's University, and a Mass Media Faculty in Ramnarain Ruia College.
He has been invited as a speaker and resource person by prestigious institutions like National Centre for Performing Arts (Mumbai), Virasat Arts Foundation (Kolkata), Nagpur Literary Festival, Delhi Literary Festival, Asiatic Society of Bengal, Asiatic Society of Mumbai, Nehru Centre (Mumbai), Piramal Enterprises, Indian Merchants Chamber (Women's Wing), YPO Gold Mumbai, M.S. University of Baroda, amongst others.
His research work has been widely recognized, with publications in academic journals, book chapter, and presentations at international conferences. Notable works include studies on the Indian National Movement, the Political Philosophy of Subhas Chandra Bose, and the study of twentieth-century political developments in Asia.
