FLAME University is committed to creating a barrier-free environment that ensures equal access and opportunities for individuals with disabilities (Divyangjan). The institution has implemented various components and facilities to promote inclusivity and support the diverse needs of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors. 

1. Built Environment with Ramps/Lifts: FLAME University has incorporated ramps and lifts throughout the campus to ensure easy access to classrooms, libraries, administrative buildings, and other facilities. The ramps and lifts are designed to be wheelchair-friendly, allowing individuals with mobility challenges to navigate the campus independently and comfortably. 

   

   

   

   

2. Divyangjan-Friendly Washrooms: The institution has equipped its washrooms with facilities that cater to the needs of individuals with disabilities. Divyangjan-friendly washrooms are designed to be spacious, accessible, and equipped with support bars and other necessary amenities to ensure convenience and comfort.

   

   

3. Signage and Tactile Paths: FLAME University has implemented clear signage throughout the campus, including tactile paths, lights, display boards, and signposts. These visual and tactile cues assist individuals with visual impairments or other disabilities in navigating the campus effectively. Tactile paths with raised surfaces and contrasting textures provide guidance and orientation for those with visual impairments.
   

   

   

   
    

4. Assistive Technology and Facilities: To support individuals with disabilities, FLAME University provides assistive technology and facilities. The institution has an accessible website that adheres to web accessibility standards, making it compatible with screen-reading software. The University has facilities of Audio books, Braille books, access to Non-Visual Desktop Access (NVDA), Portable Magnifying Lens 3X High-Powered Magnification Hand-Held Folding Magnifier Glass with LED Lights Stand and UV Protection for Reading. Mechanized equipment such as adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and assistive devices are available in classrooms and other learning spaces. Wheel chairs are available on campus for those in need. Facilities for human readers and scribes are available for those in need during examinations as per the examination regulations at FLAME University. 

   

   

5. Provision for Enquiry and Information: FLAME University ensures that individuals with disabilities have access to information and assistance. The institution provides human assistance in the form of support staff who are trained to assist individuals with disabilities. Soft copies of reading material, screen reading software, and font enlargement options are provided to cater to diverse learning needs.
