Conference / Symposium

Data science is pivotal for society, driving advancements across multiple fronts. By harnessing insights from vast and intricate datasets, it empowers decision-makers in sectors like healthcare, finance, and urban planning, fostering efficiency and effectiveness. Moreover, in scientific research, data science fuels breakthroughs in fields such as medicine, climate science, and genetics, propelling humanity towards new frontiers of knowledge.  It addresses pressing societal challenges and provides evidence-based solutions to issues like poverty, inequality, and environmental sustainability, guiding policy formulation and implementation. Its pervasive impact permeates every aspect of modern life, shaping a more connected, informed, and dynamic society.

We have an exciting lineup of keynote speakers who will delve into diverse applications of mathematical modeling and data science in diverse areas. The talks will explore the applications of AI in educational settings, the integration of emotional intelligence into machines, how hidden patterns in human behavior can be uncovered through advanced text analysis, and the examination of culinary traditions as complex systems.

The symposium will also have opportunities for students to present their ideas as posters, and attend an engaging workshop on the applications of data science in finance.
