FLAME University, Pune and the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), welcome you to the launch of their joint whitepaper on “Improving MSME Competitiveness Through Low-Carbon Economy.” The whitepaper is a result of a 7-month collaborative effort between the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and FLAME University as knowledge partner. This collaboration is a unique example of a partnership between a business advocacy group and a research-driven, liberal-education university.
The whitepaper is a consolidation of the insights from a successful Roundtable on “Improving MSME Competitiveness through Low Carbon Economy” jointly organized by IACC and FLAME on 22 July 2022 that was well-attended by industry heads, regulators, academics, entrepreneurs and students.
The whitepaper focuses on the global and Indian environment for MSME’s, high-growth sectors, barriers to MSME transition to low-carbon growth, existing government schemes, required government support and role of academia and organizations such as IACC. Its aim is to inform policymakers, academics, MSME entrepreneurs and the general public regarding the opportunities and challenges to enhancing MSME competitiveness while also ensuring a low-carbon footprint.
The event will be attended by several eminent industry heads and will be held on 28th February from 9:45 am to 12:00 pm in Vikram Sarabhai (VKS 003) at FLAME University. It will be open to both the FLAME community and external audiences.
