Seminars & Workshops

Climate Change and its impacts are no longer a subject of the future. Adaptation to climate change by the MSMEs will be possible when there is an exercise of conscious will by the MSMEs to make eco-friendly choices and to find innovative solutions that are financially viable. MSMEs can only achieve this with the support of a conducive regulatory environment and incentive policies that are clear and which get actually implemented in spirit and form.

In the view of the above, IACC- West India Council in association with its knowledge partner ‘FLAME University’ is organizing a Round Table Discussion on ‘Improving MSMEs Competitiveness through Low Carbon Economy’ on July 22 at FLAME Campus.

The Round Table Discussion will be between 16-18 CEOs/CXOs from MSME sector. They will deliberate on major concerns and challenges in adopting clean technologies and sustainable business that calls for quick action. The program will be graced by dignitaries like Dr. Anbalagan, CEO, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), Mr. Mangesh Jadhav, Registrar of Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Dr. Sanjay Kolte, CEO, Pune Smart City and Mr. Agrawal, Past Chairman, UPSC.

The objective is to provide a platform and excellent opportunity to the participants to share first-hand information, policy recommendations in order to combat climate change and accelerate the transition to climate neutrality.

IACC in association with its Knowledge Partner ‘FLAME University’ will publish a white paper based on the deliberations made during the program and come up with solutions and recommendations which will serve as a useful guide to the concerned regulators and stakeholders at the State and Central level.
