INTRODUCTION

Are you an HR professional? Do you have a flair for data (not numbers)? Are you interested in knowing how data can lead to precise (well, almost) decision-making?

Continuing the philosophy of bringing the latest developments and thinking in HR, NHRDN and FLAME University once again provide a golden opportunity where analytics is demystified, thus helping HR professionals to move up the analytical value-chain.

OBJECTIVES

This programme serves as an introductory module on analytics and data driven decision-making with a practice-based approach.

On completion of the programme, participants will be able to practically apply the tools and concepts essential for data-driven decision-making in their individual work areas.

By using an experiential learning methodology, participants will experience hands-on learning using tools, live-data and case studies to develop a basic framework, metrics, interpret hindsights and prepare a plan that is actionable in their current work. The programme is focused on adding value to both, the participants and their organisations.

  • Participants will receive mentoring from Analytics Experts for 6 months from the date of certification. 
  • NHRD & the Flame Team will conduct 45 - 60 minute sessions for the HR teams in the respective organisations on HR Analytics Fundamentals. 
  • Connect through a digital medium for identifying HR analytics project/projects in the organisation to support at the initial phase.

  • What is data and how do you work with it?
  • What is Analytics?
  • How do you manage data for analytics?
  • Developing metrics and hindsights,
  • Basic introduction to insights and foresights from data.
  • Presenting and taking data-driven decisions.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This programme is designed for managers and analysts aspiring to be in a decision making role that requires analysis of using data, though no prior experience in programming/analysis/statistics is necessary.


PROGRAMME DIRECTOR and Faculty

Prof. Niraj Mankad
Ph.D. (IIT Bombay), MBA (Leeds University), B.E

Prof. Mankad is a Faculty Member in the area of Operations and Strategy. He holds a PhD in strategy from IIT Bombay and conducts courses in Analytics, Innovation and Technology Management. He has over 10 years of corporate exposure in IT and manufacturing and has been teaching and training for the last 12 years. He has a number of publications to his credit including coursework for the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India.

Prof. Tejpal Singh Batra
M.B.A (HR), B.Com

Prof. Tejpal is an experienced leader, with over 30 years of global experience in Transformation, Program management, Operations, Information Technology and Human Resources. He has extensive experience in working with top management, understanding business needs and recommend/implement solutions that enables business transform in line with set business goals. He is currently consulting in transformation domain and has designed and implemented customised workshops on analytics and process management for several organisations.
