Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal  is the Minister of Finance in the Government of Punjab. He also handles the portfolios of Planning, Programme Implementation and Governance Reforms. A five time MLA in the Punjab assembly from 1995 to 2012,  he  represents the Bathinda Urban seat in the Assembly. He has also served as  finance minister in the earlier government from 2007-2010.

Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal is a law graduate, L.L.B.(Hons) from University of London (1987). Earlier he did B.A. (Hons in History) from St. Stephens College, Delhi. He has done schooling at The Doon School, Dehradun.
