ABOUT THIS COURSE
This workshop focuses on projection mapping as a tool to create immersive experiences, participants will be first introduced to the fundamentals of projection mapping and the tools used in the industry sector and then to different techniques to make projections react to external input and make them interactive.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of programming is required (especially in creative coding frameworks like Processing, p5js, Arduino).
Knowledge of electronics would be helpful but not necessary.
How Will You Learn?
Through the replication and creation of different projection mapping exercises, you will gradually incorporate different levels of interactivity, and finally design and showcase your own installation.
What will I learn?
The basics of Projection Mapping for multi-surface installations.
To use and create interactive visualisations within the projections.
To explore and use basic electronics as input devices for the installations.
