“The curriculum has been designed in such a way that it includes both the theory as well as practice of the discipline."

Why I Chose FLAME

When I joined FLAME, the institution was in its early stage of development. There was a sense of adventure, creating together an academic institution where the learning environment was to be full of innovative ideas, dreams and dreamers. The very idea of liberal education was new and exciting which enabled exploration of one's own self within the boundries of an academic design. This design enabled us to try out new and innovative courses. This excitement made me chose FLAME.

What Sets FLAME Apart From Other Institutions

The idea of liberal education in true letter and spirit sets FLAME apart.

The Courses I Teach At FLAME

The courses I teach are Music Appreciation, Music and Theatre, Stage Music of Maharashtra, Performing Culture, Riyaaz and Practical Training (Vocal).

My Most Eventful Experience In The Classroom

When a student who was completely disinterested in music sang a composition flawlessly in the class!

The Most Outstanding Features Of Curriculum Delivery At FLAME

The curriculum has been designed in such a way that it includes both the theory as well as practice of the discipline. It also gives the scope to faculty to design their own structure of the course based on the guidelines, decide the evaluation strategy, and course delivery according to the composition of the group of students in front of you.

What I Cherish And Admire The Most About FLAME

In the early days of institution building, frank and candid discussions about all issues with the goal to take the institution to a newer height is what I admire about FLAME the most. Additionally, our students give the most cherished moments on campus.
