Manish Chopra is a senior partner in the Healthcare Systems & Services practice. His recent clients include large private, public, and not-for-profit health systems, reputed academic medical centers, a national laboratory diagnostics services company, leading multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, and sovereign wealth funds with healthcare interests.
Manish’s time at McKinsey has spanned four offices (Detroit, New Jersey, Singapore, and New York). He was based in the US from 2001 to 2010 before moving to Asia, based in Singapore, for two years; he returned to the US, in New York, in 2012. In Asia, Manish led McKinsey’s Singapore office as managing partner, and served private and public sector clients in Singapore, China, India, Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia within healthcare and beyond. He also led the pricing practice for the broader Asia Pacific region.
Manish has a MS (1999) and PhD (2001) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BS in technology (1997) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He is the author of a recent book, The Equanimous Mind, in which he has shared his experiences with mindfulness meditation and the positive impact it has had on his personal and professional life.
