About the speaker
An advisor and mentor for start-ups, technology companies, and social organisations; Mr. Nalawade has had a successful tenure of 25 years in Thermax Ltd. - a major corporation in the energy and environment sector. He was a director on the board from 1987 to 1992, and served as Executive Director from 1992 to 1996. He led the Thermax group as CEO & Managing Director from February 1996 to July 2000.


He now sits on the board of EcoAxis Systems Pvt. Ltd, a venture that he founded and led as the Managing Director with strategic and financial support from A.T.E. - a Mumbai based business house with operations in textile machinery, printing, and clean technologies fields. EcoAxis pioneered a machine-to-machine (M2M) communication platform for continuous remote monitoring and analytics for energy, water & waste water systems, and CDM projects. His professional interests include sustainable development and quality management.
