The Department of Psychological Sciences is organizing a conference in M
 arch 2025, titled “National Conference of Psychology: Bridging Theory and P
 ractice, at FLAME University. The dates for the conference are 28th and 29t
 h of March 2025.\n\nThe theme for this conference is "Innovations in Mental
  Health." Mental health is a critical component of overall well-being, yet 
 it remains a stigmatized and under-resourced area of healthcare in India. D
 espite recent advancements in mental health awareness and treatment, signif
 icant gaps persist between research and practical application. Addressing t
 hese gaps is essential for developing effective mental health interventions
  and policies tailored to India's unique socio-cultural context. This confe
 rence aims to outline a comprehensive approach to bridge the gap between me
 ntal health practitioners, researchers and policy makers. By fostering coll
 aboration and knowledge exchange, we seek to enhance the efficacy of mental
  health care and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices 
 and policies.\n\nWe have an exciting lineup of keynote speakers, a panel di
 scussion with industry experts, and a fireside chat along with oral and pos
 ter presentations. The conference is aligned with FLAME University’s interd
 isciplinary ethos. Psychology and mental health are inherently transdiscipl
 inary, drawing from the fields of sociology, public policy, technology, eco
 nomics and education. By integrating diverse perspectives, interdisciplinar
 y collaboration would help foster comprehensive mental health understanding
 .
