Students will also have the opportunity t o ask her questions about navigating the transition from academics to a suc cessful career in journalism and digital media.\n Speaker Bio:\n Anahita Sa chdev is an accomplished journalist, video producer, and media professional with a distinguished academic and professional background. She earned her Bachelor of Arts as a Literary and Cultural Studies major with a minor in F ilm and Television from FLAME (2014-2018), where she was awarded the Gold M edal for Extraordinary All-Round Performance and the Silver Medal for Outst anding Scholastic Performance. She graduated with the highest rank in her s pecialization and actively served as the chairperson of the FirstCut Intern ational Student Film Festival.\n\nShe further pursued a Master of Science i n Journalism with Honours from Columbia University-Graduate School of Journ alism. Currently, she serves as a Senior Digital Producer at BBC News in Ne w Delhi, after working as a video journalist in Washington, D.C., under BBC North America's prestigious video fellowship.\n\nAnahita has won numerous accolades, including the Laadli Media Award for Best Issue-Based Program (2 022) for her work on "In Perspective," a video series covering gender, cast e, and LGBTQ+ issues, for which she co-produced and edited over 300 videos.
