 e of well-being concerns by providing support as well as filling knowledge 
 gaps while working at international, national and sub-national levels. The 
 sector is an important collaborator for joint action on issues ranging from
  household-level concerns such as poverty and health to overarching global 
 priorities such as refugee crisis and climate change. This presentation pro
 vides an overview of intricacies associated with measuring impact and creat
 ing learnings from the program implementation at three different levels viz
 . sub-national (or local), national and international. By means of on the g
 round implementation experience of health interventions, rural development 
 and climate change programs, the presentation outlines the wide canvas for 
 learning and engagement on factors that constitute the core of the developm
 ent sector and highlights the ground level challenges and the measures of m
 itigating them.\nAbout the Speaker\nPriyajit Samaiyar is a development sect
 or professional with more than 17 years of experience in designing and impl
 ementing programs with robust monitoring and evaluation systems, processes 
 and frameworks across the Mekong region, East Timor, Pacific and Middle eas
 t while working with International NGOs. Mr. Samaiyar is currently a Corpor
 ate Social Responsibility (CSR) professional working as Head of Monitoring 
 and Evaluation with Reliance Foundation. He holds dual master degree in Eco
 nomics and Population Studies from Madras Christian College and Internation
 al Institute for Population Sciences respectively with three years of acade
 mic research experience at Centre for Development Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru
  University, prior to his professional experience.\n
