Prof. Monika Sawhney is currently a tenured associate professor at t
 he University of North Carolina in Charlotte, USA. She is also associated w
 ith FLAME as a visiting faculty member (academic advisor). She serves as an
  affiliate faculty member with Africana Studies, Women and Gender Studies, 
 and the School of Data Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Char
 lotte, NC. She has also served as a clinical associate professor with Marsh
 all University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (Department of Cardiolo
 gy Services).
\nProf. Sawhney is an experienced health economist and outcom
 es researcher with a PhD in health care from the Tulane University School o
 f Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She has more than 20 years of experi
 ence leading, directing, and collaborating on research assignments related 
 to health economics, real-world evidence, epidemiology, health systems effi
 ciency and efficacy, the burden of diseases and illnesses, quality of care,
  patient-reported outcomes, clinical trials, and outcomes research, with a 
 primary focus on healthcare business and policy.\n\nProf. Sawhney has teach
 ing, research, field, and program-related experiences in the varied areas o
 f international and global public health in countries such as Austria, Bang
 ladesh, China, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Poland, Switzerland, Tan
 zania, Turkey, and the United States of America.
