  Sawhney is currently a tenured associate professor at the University of No
 rth Carolina in Charlotte, USA. She is also associated with FLAME as a visi
 ting faculty member (academic advisor). She serves as an affiliate faculty 
 member with Africana Studies, Women and Gender Studies, and the School of D
 ata Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, NC. She has 
 also served as a clinical associate professor with Marshall University’s Jo
 an C. Edwards School of Medicine (Department of Cardiology Services).\nProf
 . Sawhney is an experienced health economist and outcomes researcher with a
  PhD in health care from the Tulane University School of Public Health and 
 Tropical Medicine. She has more than 20 years of experience leading, direct
 ing, and collaborating on research assignments related to health economics,
  real-world evidence, epidemiology, health systems efficiency and efficacy,
  the burden of diseases and illnesses, quality of care, patient-reported ou
 tcomes, clinical trials, and outcomes research, with a primary focus on hea
 lthcare business and policy.\n\nProf. Sawhney has teaching, research, field
 , and program-related experiences in the varied areas of international and 
 global public health in countries such as Austria, Bangladesh, China, Costa
