  event: Behavioral economics (BE) investigates a broad range of topics at t
 he intersection of economics and psychology. BE posits that economic agents
 ' preferences are, to a large extent, non-selfish. The mini-lecture on BE w
 ill briefly discuss the evidence accumulated over about five decades around
  the globe on a few fundamental economic games that have become an integral
  part of any introductory course in BE. The hope is to familiarize the audi
 ence with what all economics in its current state can explore.  \nAbout the
  speaker: Prof. Subhasish Dugar is an Associate Professor of Economics at t
 he University of Utah, USA. Before joining the University of Utah, Prof. Du
 gar was an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Calgary, C
 anada.\nProf. Subhasish's research and teaching interests include Psycholog
 y &amp; Economics, Laboratory &amp; Field Experiments, Applied Game Theory,
  Micro Theory, Norms &amp; Economics, Managerial Economics, and Economics o
 f Organizations. He has extensively worked in several aspects of Behavioral
