 e event: Behavioral economics (BE) investigates a broad range of topics at 
 the intersection of economics and psychology. BE posits that economic agent
 s' preferences are, to a large extent, non-selfish. The mini-lecture on BE 
 will briefly discuss the evidence accumulated over about five decades aroun
 d the globe on a few fundamental economic games that have become an integra
 l part of any introductory course in BE. The hope is to familiarize the aud
 ience with what all economics in its current state can explore.  \n

 he speaker: Prof. Subhasish Dugar is an Associate Professor of Economics at
  the University of Utah, USA. Before joining the University of Utah, Prof. 
 Dugar was an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Calgary,
  Canada.\n
Prof. Subhasish's research and teaching interests include Psycho
 logy &amp; Economics, Laboratory &amp; Field Experiments, Applied Game Theo
 ry, Micro Theory, Norms &amp; Economics, Managerial Economics, and Economic
 s of Organizations. He has extensively worked in several aspects of Behavio
 ral Economics, and his papers are published in top-tier economics journals.
