 the Speaker: Mookesh Patel is professor Emeritus at Arizona State Universit
 y, Tempe, USA, former Dean at the Indian School of Design and Innovation - 
 ISDI, Mumbai, India. He serves as an Academic Advisory Board member at Riid
 l Academy, Somaiya Vidyavihar University, Mumbai.He received his MFA in gra
 phic design from the Rhode Island University. He holds a diploma in digital
  communication from the National Institute of Design and a BS from Ahmedaba
 d Science College, Gujarat University, India. As a Principal Director at Ch
 anchal, Scottsdale, he practices information and experience design. His cli
 ents include Arizona State Land Development, Phoenix Art Museum,  Metropoli
 tan Boston Transit Authority of Malcolm Grear Designers, and the Government
  of India for a major traveling exhibition, My Land, My People. He is the r
 ecipient of a Fulbright Research Scholar Grant, United Nations Development 
 Program Grant, and other awards. Professor Patel's research focuses on desi
 gn education, online learning, information design, semiotics, visual interp
 retation, data visualization, exhibition/experience design and typography.
