Sreemoyee Piu Kundu is an acclaimed lifestyle journalist
  who has worked in leading publications like Times of India, India Today, M

 es of India). After more than a decade in print media, she migrated to PR w

 ee debuted with Faraway Music, her critically lauded, first novel, in 2013,

 ss of the novel also saw Sreemoyee burst on the scene as one of India's str

You’ve Got the Wrong Girl, 
 her third work of fiction, a light-hearted rom-com, broke new ground in Ind
 ian ‘lad-lit’. In 2017, she wrote her first non-fiction work, the widely-ap
 preciated and critically acclaimed, Status Single, a narrative drawing from
  the lives of 3000 urban Indian single women, about the daily struggle of b
 eing single in a country where the highest validation for women remains mar
 riage and motherhood that was featured on Los Angeles Times and the Guardia
 n London as a seminal work of female identity. The audio-visual rights of S
 tatus Single have just been signed on by Viacom. \n
Sreemoyee's latest work
  of fiction, Cut takes a look at the stifling environment of government cen
 sorship and the struggle of a theatre activist to retain his artistic freed
 om. Cut was performed as a play at Delhi's prestigious National School of D
 rama, and was directed by legendary theatre director, Abhilash Pillai.\n

 eemoyee is the recipient of the NDTV L'Oréal Women of Worth award for Excel
 lence in Literature and the United Nations Woman, Young Achiever for Litera
 ture. She has just completed her memoirs, Unhealed, by Bloomsbury and has c
