DESCRIPTION:Dear Student,\nFLAME Upskill is a series of exclusive workshops for high sc
 hool students on interdisciplinary topics from various fields spanning huma
 nities, sciences, artificial intelligence, communication, sports, and arts 
 amongst others. The series will focus on helping high school students devel
 op crucial skills necessary for a journey of lifelong learning. The series 
 has been conceptualized as a reflection of the liberal education ethos prac
 tised and delivered at FLAME University. Attendees will receive a Letter of
  Participation in appreciation for their efforts during the workshop. These
  workshops will be conducted for a limited number of participants and selec
 tion will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis. \n\n\n This workshop i
 s exclusively for high school students (Grades X, XI and XII). No other cat
 egory of participants will be approved to attend the workshop. All particip
 ants who attend the complete workshop will receive a certificate or letter

 w what are competencies and how are they different from skills? This sessio
 n will focus on understanding 64 competencies that help in understanding yo
 ur personality, in knowing your strengths and your potentials. The session 
 will also include which competencies will make you future ready. The sessio
 n will also help you align your competencies with your career goals. \n\nPr

 of. Shalaka Shah is an Asst. Prof. of Psychology at the Department of Socia
 l Scienes, School of Liberal Education. She is a passionate Psychologist an
 d a licensed Competency Development Coach. Prof. Shah has been a business e
 xcellence researcher through her work as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Business 
 Leadership Education and Competency Development at the Steinbeis School of 
 International Business & Entrepreneurship (SIBE), Germany. She has earn
 ed a doctorate in work-life balance and career success from Ludwig Maximili
 ans University (LMU), Munich Germany. Her PhD focused on the positive aspec
 ts of work-life interface theoretically known as work-family enrichment. Pr
