Given today’s economic
and social challenges, educating interculturally competent leaders who und
erstand self and context is critical, but if we can combine global educatio
n with learning that promotes an entrepreneurial mindset we can empower the
next generation of problem-solvers who can meet the grand challenges of th
e 21st century through thoughtful action.
Amir will also share
what makes Babson unique and how students from FLAME University can benefi
t from the Babson Build program.
Speaker Profile
Amir Reza is Dean of Babson Academy for the Advancement of Glob al Entrepreneurial Learning & Dean of Global Education at Babson Colleg e. He has served on leadership boards for AIEA and NAFSA. Reza has also ser ved on the international advisory board of Tongji University, Shanghai, Chi na, and CIEE Entrepreneurship Lab in Berlin, Germany. He has presented at n umerous national and international conferences on international education. In 2019 he co-authored Careers in International Education: A Guide for New Professionals. His research focus is on internationalization, and intercult ural development. He holds a B.A. and M.Ed. from the University of Maine, a nd a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College’s Center for International Higher Education.
