 ities of higher education and research in all fields in Germany, and also p
 rovide information on courses in Germany, funding opportunities, applicatio
 n requirements, deadlines and student life in Germany.\nDuration of the ses
 sion: 20 min presentation and 30 min Q&A session\nSpeakers:Ms. Devi Ara
 nd is the honorary director of DAAD Information Centre Pune since September
  2017. She is also a guest lecturer for German literature at Department of 
 Foreign Languages (German studies), SPPU Pune since September 2017. She gra
 duated from the University of Bamberg, Germany. She has taught at Goethe In
 stitute, at schools in Bavaria and in Berlin and at the University of Regen
 sburg. She has also worked as a DAAD language assistant at IIT Bombay durin
 g the academic year 2014/2015 as teacher for German as a Foreign Language.\
 nMs. Dhanashree Deodhar is the Information and Office Manager, DAAD Informa
 tion Center Pune. She has studied German literature and completed her Maste
 r’s degree from University of Pune. She has worked as administrative assist
 ant in Volkswagen India Pvt. Ltd. In May 2009 she joined DAAD as Informatio
 n and Office Manager at DAAD Information Centre Pune and she is also teachi
 ng German as a foreign language at University of Pune.\n
