 lian by birth, is an exponent of Odissi dance and Mayurbhanj Chau. She came
  to Indian dance after years of experience in the traditional as well as ex
 perimental theater in Europe. She  made Odisha her home since 1979. A senio
 r disciple of Odissi Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, Ileanaji is an acclaimed da
 ncer and an accomplished choreographer.She has given innumerable performanc
 es, Lecture demonstrations in all the major centers in India, and abroad.  
  \n\n\nHer contributions also include articles on Odia culture published in
  Indian and foreign magazines and research work for film-documentaries on O
 dissi and Chhau dances.  In 1996 she won the National Award for best choreo
 graphy for her dance direction to the Bengali film 'Yugant'.\n
