DESCRIPTION:\n\nLast year, the I.D.E.A.S. Club successfully secured its' first TEDxLive
  license, the event being named TEDxFLAMELive. The conferences were extreme
 ly well received by all those who attended. Once again, the I.D.E.A.S. Club
  has obtained a TEDxFLAMELive license, allowing for the live broadcast of T
 ED sessions. However this year, there is an additional change: we are invit
 ing entire FLAME community to not only attend the simulcast of the conferen
 ce on campus, but select a few to speak as well! \n\n\nTo give a TED talk i
 s to put yourself on a platform like no other, it is to put your opinions a
 cross, to convey a message that creates an impact on the community. The pro
 spective speakers can choose any topic of their liking, be it technology or
  sports, a cultural study or a psychological perspective, the possibilities
  are endless.\n For all the students who are interested in giving the live 
 talk at TEDxFLAMELiveare requested to send in their ideas in the form of a 
 short write up (not exceeding 250 words). The entries would be screened by 
 a panel which would be further shortlisted. We would be thrilled to have fa
 culty to participate in the event as live speaker as well.  The event will 
 be held on 18/03/2015. Each speaker will be allotted not more than 18 minut
 es to present their topic. We request you to kindly send in your entries by
  6/02/2015 and write up by 12/02/2015. \n
