Prof.Sajith is an excellent teacher of marketing and entrepreneurship. His passion for teaching lead him to join academics at a relatively young age after a learning stint in the industry and as an entrepreneur. He became an entrepreneur instead of taking up his campus placement offer. He set up Plink Solutions, a communication consultancy for SMEs and NGOs, in Ahmadabad. He also participated in numerous other start-ups in the for-profit and social space. He received the Star Entrepreneur Award in 2011 at 4th Indira India Innovation Summit, held in Pune. Before joining MICA he worked with Standard Chartered Bank as a Team Leader.

Prof.Sajith has also undertaken several marketing and research projects for organizations like DNA Newspapers, Ogilvy Advertising, Mudra Communications, UNICEF and Cipla Pharmaceuticals among others. He recently completed the renowned Film Appreciation course from the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune. He is now pursuing his Ph.D. in Management from SoA University, Bhubaneswar. He has been a visiting faculty in the field of Branding, Advertising and Entrepreneurship in reputed institutes like MICA, BIMM, JGBS, JICM, ICFAI and ISBM. At FLAME, he conducts courses like Innovative Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, Product Management, Entrepreneurial Marketing and Brand Planning.

He was awarded as the Best Faculty of the Year (2010) at the FLAME School of Business. He pens a popular blog on Innovative Marketing and manages two Facebook pages on Start-ups and marketing, having over 3000 followers, during his free time. He is also an active social worker and has founded several initiatives like Pledge a tree, Sankalp Scholarship, 100 startups, Learning through films and FFBW.
