Prof. Nalawade, as a business focused professional, has a wide experience in academia, consulting and training. She has a total work experience of twenty years. As an academician, research associate, teacher and head of academics she has spent around fourteen years in B-Schools like Symbiosis, MDI Gurgaon, S.P. Jain Mumbai, Bajaj- Mumbai and IIM-A. Her stint in the corporate world includes being at a Senior Managerial position, Research, Consultant and Trainer across organizations like TNS, Essel World (Essel Infra), Bombay Management Association,  ESCP EAP France (Executive), several SMEs,  L&T Bangalore and Pithampur etc.

She is passionate about using innovative modes of teaching and learning for classroom teachings and on-line teachings. As a keen market observer, she likes to blog her opinions on Brand and Marketing.

As a prolific writer in Hindi magazines and newspapers, she blogs as well by the name “ek kaatar mrignayani” and  has authored two books “Rewa Paar Se” (poetry collection) and “Mutthhi Bhar Akshar” (short story collection).

She is also a recipient of National Award for Best Story (as a contribution to Hindi literature,) “Sarasvita-Puraskar” for the year 2014.

Her current research interest areas are Consumer Insights, Marketing Communication and Anthropomorphism.
