Prof. Ashutosh Mishra
M.Phil. in Disarmament from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi; M.A. in International Politics & M.A. in Communication
Associate Professor – Political Science
Ashutosh Mishra enjoys a two decades long teaching experience, national and international, a significant amount of which was earned while working with the underprivileged communities in the desert state of Rajasthan, where he taught Political Science at a Government College in district Alwar near New Delhi. This has sensitized him to the intricate workings of power within marginal societies.
Prof. Ashutosh is steadfast in his commitment towards emancipating himself and those around him beyond academic mediocrity which he believes to be the bane of higher education in India.
The eclectic nature of Ashutosh’s socio-cultural background eenables him to generate interests often too diverse to quantify.
As an Associate Professor at FLAME, Pune, Ashutosh enjoys teaching the substance and art of politics to his pupils.
Prof. Ashutosh Mishra has recently updated his research interest. From an initial focus upon research on non-proliferation and international security, he has moved on to study discourse analysis of nuclear proliferation in the Western media.
