Assistant Professor – English Literature
Prof. Nidhi Kalra has been pursuing her passion as a learning facilitator since 2008. She has been a faculty member at the English Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University, the English Language Teaching Institute of Symbiosis, as well several colleges in the University of Delhi, including Gargi College, Indraprastha College for Women (her alma mater), and Daulat Ram College. She holds a BA (Hons), MA, and MPhil in English from the University of Delhi. Though she dabbles in the field of editing, academia remains her first love.
Prof. Nidhi believes that encouraging the development of sensitized and socially-conscious minds’ development is the benchmark of a Liberal Arts student/learning facilitator as also of a global citizen.
Her special interests include Holocaust studies, trauma studies, children’s and adolescent literature, fantasy, as well as Modern and Victorian Literatures.
