Associate Professor – Finance

Dr.G.Raghuram is a PhD in Management from Institute of Management, Nirma Univesity, Ahmedabad, India. Prior to his entry into academics Dr.Raghuram was with Zacks Research Private Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Zacks Investment Research, Inc., USA for eight years. In Zacks his work was in the area of Quantitative Equity Portfolio Management (QEPM). During his period of work at Zacks Research, Dr.Raghuram had been to the Chicago, USA office of Zacks for training purposes.

Before joining FLAME, Dr.Raghuram was an Associate Professor in the Finance area with Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune for two years and five months. Before that he was a Senior Assistant Professor in the Finance area at School of Management, SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu for two years and five months.

Dr.Raghuram’s research interests are anomalies of the CAPM, Fama-French three factor model and the adaptive market hypothesis (AMH). During his full-time PhD programme at Institute of Management, Nirma Univesity, he was an Exchange Research Scholar at the College of Business Administration and Economics, New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, NM 88003-8001, USA where he formulated and successfully defended his PhD thesis research proposal.
