Communication Education at FLAMEImagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. While logic will get you from A to B; imagination will take you everywhere. You imagine what you desire, you will what you imagine and at last you create what you will. If the world has to be our creation, it has to be imagined first. But sometimes, imagination needs a translator. It is called communication. Communication is nothing but imagination engaging in free conversation. Imagination is our wings to fly free; it makes the world a canvas. Communication paints it with words, visuals and everything in between. At FLAME School of Communication, we want to promote, nurture and develop independent thinking, creative, effective and responsible communicators and managers in different media. We want to do this in an environment that encourages students to explore new ideas in content and form, and to experiment and re-examine ideas on an ongoing basis. We encourage students to use the knowledge base and skill-set acquired as responsible global citizens. FLAME School of Communication is a two year AICTE approved PGDM program. It is headed by Achyut Vaze as its Dean and draws its faculty – full-time, part-time and visiting – from among the best professionals – national as well as international – in their respective fields. It has been set up to meet the long-felt need for providing high quality education in the art and business of communication and media. The School offers options for studying filmmaking, television, advertising, journalism, and new media. FLAME School of Communication focuses on, both, classroom instruction and hands-on project work. Inside the classroom, students are taught and their minds enlightened by experienced academics and practitioners from the industry. Outside the classroom, students learn by interaction and discussion. The faculty also mentors project work. Students work on group as well as individual projects. FLAME School of Communication provides its students all the tools they need to learn: right from the best faculty to hands-on equipment. While at FLAME School of Communication, a student has easy and ready access to a host of resources that aid him to practice his craft and course better and to the best of his ability.
