(FLAME) Foundation for Liberal And Management Education invites Pune, November 14, 2009: India’s Warren Buffett and the leading analyst, Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala visited FLAME (Foundation for Liberal and Management Education) and shared his thoughts on emerging trends in the Indian Economy. His wit and humour got thunderous applause from the audience many a times. The interactive session focused on educating the students with the best possible investment options with limited resources. FLAME recently launched an Investment Lab (FIL) which is a planned co curricular student run activity that aims to provide members with skills to help them bridge theory with practice.
Sharing his insights on the investments, Mr. Rakesh Jhunjhunwala said “I am very happy to be part of this unique initiative by FLAME. The concept of Liberal Education is truly mind boggling and a much needed one in India. This format will be a successful model for the holistic development of today’s young generation.” He further elaborated that, “It is very crucial to have an understanding of the Indian economy before venturing into any kind of investment to ensure maximum returns at a minimal risk. Resource allocation is also an integral aspect of investment which will enable an individual to widen the margin of profits.” His advice to the students…… Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Mr. Parag Shah said, “The aim of FIL is to arm the participating students with the knowledge and information about the real business world by interacting with the industry leaders.
