An Anthropologist can work in the following fields, just to mention a few.
• General development including rural, tribal and urban development, local regional and national development, social dimension of development sectors such as health,education, infrastructure-amenities, etc. |

• Community development - especially participation and empowerment, gender equity, social justice, etc.
• Sustainable development – human ecology, environment, and development,ecological crises and corrective measures, etc.
• Public health – health care delivery system, management of epidemics, health policies and planning, etc.
• Forensic investigations – use of dermatology (science of finger prints), blood group analysis, genetic markers, anthropometrics, etc. for crime investigation. |
