Eligibility & Selection Process

FLAME School of Business and FLAME School of Communication

Eligibility
Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% in aggregate at the degree level from a university / institution recognized by the UGC or equivalent bodies. Those in their final year can also apply provided they would be completing their final degree examination before May 30, 2012 and should produce their degree or equivalent certificate / mark sheet before September 30, 2012.

Selection Process
Candidates applying to FLAME School of Business or the FLAME School of Communication will have to appear for any one or more of the following national tests: CAT 2011* (conducted by IIMs), CMAT, XAT, MAT, JMET, ATMA or MHCET.
*IIM’s have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

GD / PI Dates
At the time of applying, students should provide us with their registration form numbers of any of the specified tests or type "appearing" in the registration box of the exam they plan to appear for in the future. (Add this part).

All eligible applicants will be called for GD/PI by the FLAME Admission’s Committee. Please check our website regularly for FLAME’s

"GD/PI schedule".

FLAME School of Liberal Education

Eligibility
Candidates applying to the FLAME School of Liberal Education should have completed their 12th standard or equivalent. Those in their 12th standard or equivalent class can also apply provided they would be completing their final examination before May 30, 2012 and should produce their final certificate / mark sheet before September 30, 2012.

The minimum cutoffs to be eligible to apply to FLAME School of Liberal Education are as follows:

  • In the case of State Boards, CBSE and ICSE, 40 % or pass marks as prescribed by the respective Boards.
  • In the case of International Baccalaureate students, a diploma is the minimum requirement.
  • In the case of Cambridge University students, ‘A’ Level certificate is the minimum requirement.

Selection Process
The candidates have a choice of either appearing for the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) or SAT. If candidates have appeared for SAT, they can submit their SAT scores. If not, they have to appear for FEAT. The FLAME Admission Committee will notify the eligible candidates of their test or GD/PI center. Please check our website regularly for our FEAT or "GD/PI schedule".

Apart from the scores of the above-mentioned tests, the selection will be through a comprehensive admission process that consists of an internally designed admission assessment, application rating, personality test, group discussion and personal interview.

FLAME School of Performing Arts

Eligibility

Bachelors Program: The main eligibility criteria are the aptitude and willingness to learn. Any individual who has completed at least 12th grade is eligible to apply for the entry in the first year of the bachelors program. Exceptionally gifted candidates may be promoted to second or third year at the entry point for their Certificate or Diploma.   

Masters Program: The main eligibility criteria are the aptitude and willingness to learn. Any individual who has completed a Bachelors degree is eligible to apply for the entry in the first year of the Masters program. Exceptionally gifted candidates may be put on fast track.

Selection Process

  • Phase 1: Based on the application form and experience, candidates will be shortlisted.
  • Phase 2: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and personal interview. This will include an audition. 
    Theatre applicants may be called for a final selection workshop
