FLAME ignites a global discussion

THE Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME) organised the Knowledge Globalization Conference 2012 (KGC 2012) from January 5 to 7 at the FLAME Campus, Pune. The symposium brought together researchers and practitioners from across the globe. The key objective of the forum was to discuss contemporary issues in Knowledge Globalization that influence business, education, government, society, and the economy. The theme of the KGC 2012 was ' Managing Challenges of Emerging Economies'. Dr Jamshed Bharucha, president, The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, NY, was the chief guest and T V Mohandas Pai, chairman, Manipal Global Education Services P Ltd, was the keynote speaker.
