Why I Chose FLAME

FLAME has provided an institutional space for me to design and teach courses which are engaging and highly relevant. Most importantly it has the academic atmosphere that promotes innovative pedagogy.

What Sets FLAME Apart From Other Institutions

FLAME’s academic ethos and the rigour with which teaching, curricular and co-curricular activities are pursued set it apart from other institutions.

The Courses I Teach At FLAME

The courses I teach at FLAME are Indian Society and Culture: Change and Continuity, Sociology of Gender, Contemporary Social Issues, Sociology of Art and Gender, Culture and Society.

My Most Eventful Experience In The Classroom

One of the eventful experiences in the classroom was the enactment of gender roles which opened up a plethora of questions relating to gender roles, ideals and ways of undoing gender. This led to a productive session where debunking several myths, ideas and assumptions occurred through debate and discussion.

The Most Outstanding Features Of Curriculum Delivery At FLAME

Multiplicity of methods used along with integrating varied sources would be the most outstanding features of curriculum delivery.

What I Cherish And Admire The Most About FLAME

Academic rigor, FLAME library and the campus are the most admirable aspects of FLAME.
